"History of the Jews from the earliest ages to the present" — the chief work of Henry the Grets, the first systematic exposition of Jewish history as a chronicle of the spiritual life of the people. The annals of the Jewish people many ways begins with the conquest of Canaan, Jesus is Joshua.
