O. Henry (real name William Sydney porter) is an American novelist, short-story writer, a recognized master of the short story, famous as a master of humorous short stories. His novels tend subtle humor and unexpected denouement. During his short life he wrote over 280 short stories, not counting pamphlets and various little sketches. In this collection of essays first presented all the works ever written by O. Henry. It included as collections printed during the writer's life and published after his death.
