Shabtai Tevet, was an Israeli historian and writer. Tevet was born in 1925 and grew up in the working-class quarters of Migdal Tzedek's quarry, where his father worked, near Petah Tikva. He began working as a journalist for the Haaretz newspaper in 1950, eventually becoming its political correspondent.


Moshe Dayan is an Israeli military and statesman. Israel's Defense minister during the Six-Day War, the War of Attrition and the Yom Kippur War.
