Volume1
The story "Grave of the unknown soldier", depicting the life of the bourgeois of France after the Treaty of Versailles, and "Exile", dedicated to the great Patriotic war of the Soviet people against the fascist invaders. The volume contains also a section of stories relating to the early 60-ies.
Volume 2
Stories 1962-1967. the Heroes - our contemporaries, normal living among us, people: workers, engineers, students, artists, doctors, actors. Lidin consistently giving their sympathy to those who are kind, noble, emotionally generous in equal measure he is intolerant to any manifestations of philistinism, selfishness, callousness.
Volume 3
Stories 1967-1968, and a cycle of small essays "People and meetings". V. lidin says here in his meetings with writers, artists, actors, and others, have left a deep mark in his memory remarkable people, masterfully "pull it" that made them significant and unique natures.
