Walter Bowman Russell is a self—taught American author who has published a number of philosophical, cosmogonic and religious works, as well as engaged in music, sculpture, children's literature.

Walter Russell is known as a friend of Nikola Tesla, who developed his Cosmology, which has gained great popularity and many followers today. He pointed out that the whole world is a vibration of light emanating from a single source called God or the Universal Mind. He claimed that he received his knowledge from above and it is difficult to doubt this, given the fact that his book The Unity of the Universe, published in 1926, was strikingly different from all the points of view that prevailed with the United States in those years. These statements were supported by quite detailed textual and pictorial material, parts of which can be found today in many books and articles. The whole long life of Walter Russell is the personification of the application of this knowledge in the practice of everyday life, which allowed him to be a successful businessman, athlete, artist and musician, speaker and consultant (since 1930 he worked as a consultant to top managers of IBM corporation), writer and philosopher, founder of a number of organizations that still exist. Having studied his biography, it seems that Walter Russell alone lived a life for 5 people, which in itself is a very interesting fact to study.
