This book includes the most significant works of Nekrasov, including the poems "Frost, Red Nose" and "Who lives well in Russia". The revolutionary democrat Nekrasov devoted most of his work to describing the difficult life of the peasantry. Poems and poems are written as if in a folk language, saturated with dialect and folklore.
The selection of works for publication was made on the basis of the 1949 collection edited by K. I. Chukovsky.
