George Gordon Byron, 1822 — Noel Byron, from 1798 6th Baron Byron, commonly known as simply Lord Byron — English romantic poet who conquered the imagination of all Europe by his "dark self." Along with Percy Shelley and John Keats is the younger generation of British romantics.

But the image of a young Spanish nobleman don Juan, which became a symbol of the seducer and womanizer, Byron finds a new depth.
