History of Iran

The book is devoted to the history of one of the most ancient states in the world. The book covers the period from the appearance of Aryan tribes on the territory of Iran and up to the Islamic Revolution of 1979. The author deliberately does not cover the events of the revolution in detail, since, in his opinion, not enough time has passed to do it impartially.

Much attention is paid to the history of the last Qajars, the Constitutional Movement of the early XX century and the coming to power of the founder of the last ruling dynasty of Iran — Riza Shah Pahlavi, as well as various aspects of his activities.

The publication is intended not only for specialists, but also for the ordinary reader who is interested in both the ancient history of the East and the modern geopolitical structure of the world.
