This book is the first attempt to provide coverage of the process of historical development of Argentina. In the work on this book, the authors made extensive use of Argentine documents, statistics, memoirs and books by prominent Argentine figures and thinkers.

The authors of this work focused on the history of the masses of Argentina. The authors aimed to show the main points of the historical development of the country from the beginning of its emergence to the present day. Argentine bourgeois historiography covers the history of the country, as a rule, only until 1862, while our study focuses on the recent history of Argentina, poorly developed in Argentine historiography.
